Now on its six years of operation this October (it was officially launched on October 21, 2013), the interactive and fully LEGO Themed Water Park has more than 20 unique water-based rides and over 70 LEGO models among its many attractions.
It was one afternoon that we found ourselves just sitting at the cabana, having our quiet time while watching our daughter, Beatrice enjoying the wave pool. Going to a water park with my family was an epic adventure to enjoy and rejuvenate. As the saying goes, “take a splash in the pool and let all your worries drown in the blue waters!”
Thanks to LEGOLAND Water Park for this opportunity to bond with my family through water rides. Now on its six years of operation this October (it was officially launched on October 21, 2013), the interactive and fully LEGO Themed Water Park has more than 20 unique water-based rides and over 70 LEGO models among its many attractions.
It is the largest LEGOLAND Water Park and the first to have a second gate, which means it can be enjoyed separately or in combination with the Theme Park and SEA Life.
Signature rides and attractions to experience
One of the water park’s signature rides is Joker Soaker. It’s a fun interactive play structure in the wading pool where children can aim water cannons at one another. The surprise element to the Joker Soaker is when the LEGO jester model pours 350 gallons of water upon them.
Build-A-Raft River is a unique concept where children can customize their own raft made from soft LEGO bricks before floating down the lazy river.
The LEGO Wave Pool is where families can ride the waves or simply cool off. It’s where swimmers of all ages can enjoy making a splash.
The Build A Raft, Imagination Station, Build A Boat have all the LEGO elements which children can enjoy.
Meanwhile, the LEGO Slide Racers, Red Rush, and Splash ‘N’ Swirl are thrill rides, where the family can participate together.
On the other hand, the Duplo Splash Safari, Joker Soaker, and LEGO Wave pool have special features for younger kids as they can’t take those thrilling rides.
Food and Beverage Outlets to Try
After enjoying the pool and water-based rides, feeding the hungry stomach is a must. There are food and beverage outlets that can be found at the water park. The Beach Grill offers Asian and Western cuisine a la carte style.
Another outlet is Brick Café, which offers delicious snacks, smoothies, and sandwiches that will keep you hydrated and re-energized to continue with your water adventures in the Park.
We tried dining here, and the food we ordered didn’t disappoint us.
Amenities to enjoy
There are other amenities provided for the guests to make their stay more convenient and memorable while at the water park.
The Surf Shop is a LEGO-themed retail store where guests can purchase exclusive LEGOLAND Water Park souvenirs and swimwear to use or to take home for their loved ones.
Private Cabanas are available for rent to guests who want a shaded space of their own to relax in. Each cabana features comfortable seating, complimentary towels and drink, and Duplo bricks to play with. A host is also available to assist with water park needs and food orders.
Private lockers are also available to rent for the duration of any water park visit.
Indeed, LEGOLAND Water Park is a perfect destination for families. As we strive for a happier and more fulfilling life, we can draw a lot of inspiration from the places we visit and the people we meet along the way to give you the motivation you need to keep flowing.
